At ITJ Santa Mónica, bilingual learning sparks curiosity and drives student success from day one. Students begin with the International Early Years Curriculum in Kindergarten, continue through international and national projects in Primary and Middle School, and advance to the UNAM Program in High School, with the option to pursue the IB Diploma in Grade 11 — empowering learners to thrive and make a global impact.

Kindergarten

1.2 months - 7 years

Experience the perfect start at our Kindergarten. From their first steps, children thrive through the International Early Years Curriculum integrated with SEP, in full English immersion and a multilingual setting with French. Across two purpose-built campuses, your child will grow with curiosity, supported by a caring environment that nurtures wellbeing for lifelong learning.

Primary School

Age 7 - 13

Step into a dynamic Primary School experience where students grow through international and SEP curriculum, developing creativity, critical thinking, and global awareness. A multilingual approach builds strong English, Spanish, and French skills, while hands-on learning - from Radio Booth storytelling to FabLab innovation - fuels curiosity. Middle School

Age 13 - 16

Experience an engaging Middle School where the SEP curriculum is enhanced with international projects, and students strengthen their fluency in three languages. High School

Age 16 - 19

It is a pleasure to welcome you to ITJ Santa Monica, a community strengthened and committed every day to provide a meaningful educational experience for each of our students. With great pride and enthusiasm, I introduce myself, I am Monica Montalvo, General Director of ITJ Santa Monica. I joined the institution in 2010 and since then I have been fortunate to get to know the school's philosophy and our beloved community. I am committed to this educational journey; we will continue with the foundations that have distinguished us for so many years of experience and with the responsibility to innovate, always keeping our students at the core. At Santa Monica, we maintain our commitment to constructivism, fostering critical thinking and creativity as fundamental pillars for meaningful learning. Furthermore, our bilingual and multicultural educational approach, with French and English classes starting in early grades, seeks to prepare our students for life in a globalized world. We also cultivate a caring environment based on our institutional values. Honesty, respect and responsibility are the principles that guide our daily interactions and strengthen the bonds between members of our community. We acknowledge and appreciate the support of our large community of families.
