MathCounts is an American program that provides students in grades 6-8 the opportunity to compete in a live, face to face competition against and alongside their peers in mathematical challenges. In Mexico this contest is organized by ASOMEX (Association of American Schools in Mexico) and the competitors are students of American schools such as: American School Foundation of Guadalajara and CDMX, Peterson School, Westhill, the American Colleges of Puebla and Puerto Vallarta, among others.
Each year the regional competition is held in Guadalajara. This year ITJ Valle Real participated and obtained 1st place Team B in the Rally and 3rd place Team C in the Team Round. We are very proud of our representative Math team. Congratulations!
