The ITJ educational experience strengthens teamwork through project-based learning.
Elementary students develop the abilities of self-management, and self-motivation, which help them organize and plan better. They also strengthen their concrete, logical and creative thinking to solve problems and help their community.
80% of classes are taught in English and 20% in Spanish, according to the American Common Core Standards curriculum, which also helps them prepare for the certification of KET and PET exams.
During Elementary, students participate in international experiences such as trips to NASA, Kehoe France Summer Camp, New Orleans, among others. In addition, we have programs such as Scratch, Robotics, Code and Digital Civics workshops, where they learn about current disciplines, and rely on technological tools such as Chromebooks, iPads and interactive whiteboards.
