At ITJ Querétaro, the wellbeing of our students is at the heart of everything we do. Every adult in our school community is dedicated to protecting the students they work with. We collaborate closely with parents, guardians, and professionals to uphold the highest standards of student welfare.

Isabel Caballero began her first year as a teacher at this wonderful institution and has now been part of the Personalized Education department for 16 years. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Educational Psychology and a Master’s degree in Psychopedagogy. She is passionate about learning processes and emotional development, which has led her to continue training throughout her career to better support our Kindergarten students and their families.She worked as a therapist for 12 years in both the public and private sectors and, for several years, also focused on tutoring small groups of preschool children in the processes of reading and writing, as well as in the acquisition of the decimal system—two areas she finds fascinating. She is currently dedicated to her work at ITJ and to being a mother.
Alejandra Garrido, an educational and clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience supporting the mental and emotional health of children, adolescents, and adults in clinical practice, and more than 20 years of experience working in the educational field, supporting children aged 6 to 12, as well as students, teachers, and parents.
Luis García, a professional psychologist with over 20 years of experience as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist, working with adolescents, adults, and couples.
Middle School Psychologist, providing emotional support to students, conducting new admission evaluations, recruiting new teachers, and teaching the subject of Leadership (Social-Emotional Learning).
Teaching experience at middle school, high school, and undergraduate levels in subjects related to the field of psychology.
Experience in personnel evaluation, both clinical and occupational. Skilled in administering psychometric and projective tests and preparing individual reports.
Nidia Hernández: is an educational psychologist whose credentials include a master's degree and more than 20 years of experience. She has dedicated her career to the coordination of personalized education and the provision of comprehensive support in the educational field. Her specialization lies in the design and implementation of vocational guidance and socioemotional skills programs, as well as the management of staff selection and evaluation and the coordination of workshops for parents and teachers. Her work is driven by the objective of fostering healthier educational environments.

Students learn securely on a monitored and safe campus with 24/7 security, controlled access points and CCTV surveillance, with staff wearing ID badges.
Every new staff member undertakes thorough police background checks before joining our team.
Students have access to three on-campus infirmaries staffed by school nurses trained in first aid, and an AR Médica private ambulance service for immediate hospital transport when needed.
As part of our curriculum, students learn to recognize online threats and risks and how to protect their digital identity and privacy.
