“HIGH SCHOOL THOMAS JEFFERSON”, S.C. is responsible for the collection, use, protection, and processing of your personal data, in accordance with the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (“LFPDPPP”), its applicable Regulations, and other applicable provisions regarding personal data protection.

Purposes of the Processing of Your Personal Data

The personal data we collect will be used for the following purposes, which are necessary for the provision of the requested service:

A. Primary Purposes (Necessary for the service):
  • To carry out applicant admission processes.
  • To process the enrollment and re-enrollment of members of the student community.
  • To provide related educational and administrative services.
  • To communicate with you regarding educational, administrative, and operational matters through telephone calls, SMS messages, WhatsApp, emails, digital platforms, or other means.
  • To support the School’s administrative, financial, technological, and operational functions through specialized service providers (Data Processors).
B. Secondary Purposes (Marketing and optional):
  • To provide you with promotional information, updates, and events related to our services.
  • To carry out marketing, research, operational, and commercialization activities.

The School processes personal data in accordance with the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP). Pursuant to Article 7 of the LFPDPPP, consent for the processing of personal data may be express or implied, as applicable under Mexican law.

By registering within the School’s systems, data subjects acknowledge having received this Privacy Notice and the Comprehensive Privacy Notice and, when required by applicable law, grant their consent to the processing of their personal data.

Revocation of Consent for the Processing of Personal Data

If you do not wish for your personal data to be processed for purposes that require your consent under applicable law, you may express your refusal by submitting a written request to the Privacy Contact at direccion.general@itj.edu.mx, or in accordance with the provisions set forth in the Comprehensive Privacy Notice.

Once your request has been received, it will be duly addressed and processed in accordance with applicable law.

Transfer of Personal Data

The School may engage specialized service providers acting as Data Processors to process personal data on behalf of the School and strictly in accordance with its instructions, for purposes related to the provision of educational, administrative, financial, technological, and operational support services, among others.

Such processing does not constitute a transfer of personal data under the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP), since such providers process personal data solely on behalf of and under the instructions of the School.

Any transfer of personal data by the School to third parties acting as independent recipients will be carried out only when permitted or required by the LFPDPPP and other applicable legal provisions. Where applicable, the School will ensure that such transfers comply with the legal requirements established by Mexican personal data protection legislation.

Your personal data may be shared internally among the School’s various administrative and academic units when necessary for the provision of educational and related services. Such internal sharing does not constitute a transfer of personal data, as it takes place within the same data controller.
