High School students from Instituto Thomas Jefferson Campus Guadalajara, Palomar, stepped up to join TECHO Mexico’s mission to improve the lives of people living in poverty.

The High School students from Instituto Thomas Jefferson-Campus Guadalajara, Palomar, joined the effort made by TECHO México to improve the quality of life from people living in poverty. TECHO is an organization with presence in 19 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, led entirely by young volunteers. We will join this year to contribute to the “Emergency Housing Construction” project.

This project consists on building 15 wooden houses with an 18m2 area, which will benefit the same number of families settled in Rehilete in the municipality of Zapopan, Jalisco. Our students from ITJ-Palomar, committed themselves with TECHO by completing the construction of 3 of these 15 homes with a total value of $150,000 pesos.
