Exploring the pink & blue nursery: A great start

17-09-2025

Pink & blue nursery at ITJ Santa Mónica offers a nurturing, international education focusing on emotional security, independence, and resilience.

At pink & blue nursery, we provide a safe, supportive environment with an international curriculum that promotes emotional security, independence, and academic growth, helping children thrive from the start.

At Pink & Blue at ITJ Santa Monica, we understand the importance of working with children from their earliest years, which is why we are committed to a comprehensive, inclusive, and international education. Here, our students will explore and grow into happy, confident individuals. We offer a respectful adaptation process where the emotional well-being of our families is paramount.

We give children ample time to familiarize themselves with the school, its facilities, activities, and routines, accompanied by their parents. They will feel comfortable in a safe environment and develop a strong bond with their teachers. Our teaching staff has extensive experience in this developmental stage, providing students with the best possible learning experiences.

The lead teacher and assistant teacher are in charge of the children's classes and safety, along with the help of a nanny and special education teachers who introduce the little ones to art and music and develop their psychomotor skills. At the Nursery, we work with an international curriculum based on a student-centered philosophy. Through engaging learning experiences, children learn and experience the process, becoming independent, resilient, and empathetic. We promote social, emotional, and cognitive intelligence, fostering the ability to adapt to any situation. One of the distinctive features of Pink & Blue Nursery is our educational offering, which provides a 100% English-language academic program.

We work with IEYC, a curriculum designed for children aged 2 to 5, which provides learning experiences that promote cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development. We use an inclusive methodology, offering quality education for all. In our daily activities, we work with the Montessori Practical Life area, fostering coordination, independence, order, and concentration in our students. Another aspect that makes Nursery the best choice is our programs developed by the Well-Being department, which also include a Parent School.

We offer an "After School" program, an extended-day program that enhances our students' skills, tastes, and interests. Communication with parents is essential for the optimal development of children both at school and at home. We offer three interviews during the school year to share the children's achievements. In addition, we have the Well-Being department, a group of specialized psychologists who support us by providing strategies and information in specific cases. The first steps in the learning experience begin in Nursery, providing an international perspective and laying the foundation for lifelong learning. We are part of the Thomas Jefferson Santa Mónica Institute, recognized as one of the best private schools in the State of Mexico.
