Celina (Spain) and Andrea (Mexico) are students participating in the 2023 Cultural Exchange Programme. International opportunities have become not only more accessible but also essential for students' personal and professional growth. They are an exceptional way to immerse oneself in new cultures, broaden academic perspectives, and develop an international mindset.

As an international group of schools, our students benefit from being part of a wider, global community, which provides many more cultural and learning opportunities to grow together. Our goal is for all students to have the opportunity to develop their learning, repeatedly practice their skills outside the classroom, and connect with other ISP students from around the world.

At Santa Monica, we recognize the importance of bilingual schools, as they offer students the opportunity to master two languages from an early age, giving them a significant advantage in a world where the ability to communicate in multiple languages is increasingly valued. In addition to language proficiency, these schools foster an understanding of different cultures and perspectives, promoting respect, empathy, and sensitivity toward cultural diversity.

At ITJ Santa Monica, we offer international opportunities where students can immerse themselves in new cultures in a way that goes beyond the conventional. With our Cultural Exchange Program, our students have the opportunity to apply and expand their language and cultural skills in a practical, real-world setting. By studying abroad for a month, students not only improve their English but also develop intercultural skills by interacting with students and teachers from different countries around the world.

Participants have the unique opportunity to experience the daily life of another ISP student firsthand, immersed in their culture and world. This helps our students develop greater independence and responsibility by planning and preparing for their trip and by living with a new ISP family.

These hands-on learning experiences not only enrich students' education but also provide them with a global perspective and an open, international mindset that will be invaluable in their personal and professional futures.

At Thomas Jefferson Institute Santa Monica, we strive to prepare our students to face challenges. That's why we offer a variety of programs to help you take advantage of opportunities in an increasingly interconnected and diverse world. We invite you to learn more about our international opportunities.
