The Thomas Jefferson Institute became a scene filled with love and affection during Mother's Day week. From Nursery to Middle School, each school stage celebrated Mother's Day in a unique way. The youngest children, in Nursery and Kindergarten, delighted their mums with an exciting circus-themed dance show, full of colour and joy. ‘All the dances were great, I really enjoyed the show. It's my last year as a kindergarten mum, so I felt very nostalgic... but happy,’ one mum shared with us at the end of the event. In Middle School, two different activities were organised. The first allowed students to share a painting session with their mums, and it was full of creativity and love. The second activity consisted of a yoga session, where the children were able to connect with their mums and pamper them with relaxing massages they had learned in class, something they never imagined and were really surprised by, according to them. Finally, at Elementary, we ended on a high note with the games and competitions of ‘Unbreakable Bonds: Mom Chill Connection,’ where mothers had the opportunity to spend quality time with their children, playing bingo, ring toss, Jenga, and an incredible circuit in our Mind & Body room. We witnessed how they strengthened their connection and love for each other. ‘I loved playing with my son. It's been a long time since I've played games like this with him... I told him I hope we can do this together more often.’ The Mother's Day celebration at Thomas Jefferson Institute was a testament to the school's commitment to creating meaningful moments and strengthening family bonds at every stage of school development.
