On April 28th, the 2nd Thomas Race took place, a sporting event where the ITJ family came together to pave the way. The streets of Ciudad Satélite witnessed all the emotions experienced that morning: joy, excitement, and countless smiles from the participants as they enjoyed each other's company as a community, reflecting the values and spirit that characterize Thomas Jefferson Campus Santa Mónica.Around 550 students, alumni, family members, and friends participated, demonstrating a strong bond and uniting different generations of our community. The route consisted of 5 and 3 kilometers, which each participant completed by running or walking while teachers and staff motivated everyone to achieve their goal, cross the finish line, and strengthen ties by promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.Middle and high school students enlivened the event with music during the race, ensuring that all participants vibrated with positive energy throughout.At the 2nd Thomas Race, several sponsors played a crucial role in driving and making the event possible, highlighting their commitment to sport and the community. Among them were Rasten, Matter, Rematch, and El Dorado Park, who sponsored the medals for all runners and the prizes awarded to the winners. Banana Boat, known for its sun protection products, ensured that participants were well-protected from the sun for their upcoming vacations with a fun and special activation for race attendees, while Photobomb captured every special moment of the event, ensuring that all memories were immortalized with 360° videos.Thank you to all the participants, collaborators, and sponsors who made this event unique and memorable.
