Instituto Thomas Jefferson Campus-Guadalajara / Palomar, has as one of its principle objectives, to prevent the contagion and spread of the COVID-19 virus; we have reinforced our hygiene and security protocols since the beginning of the pandemic, always prioritizing the health and well-being of our community. In addition to the implementation of Distance Learning to safeguard the school community, we have installed and implemented strict sanitary filters and equipment for visitors and employees. These sanitary filters exceed those recommended by the health authorities, and include temperature measurements, application of gel antibacterial, footwear sanitation, and constant sanitation of all areas of the facilities.

At all times, the voice and choice of parents and the community are considered for decisions taken at ITJ PALOMAR; our community’s health and trust is of the utmost importance to us.
Additional measures implemented:
• Certification of our medical staff in the program for diagnosis and treatment of SARS-CoV-2 infection in primary health care. • A strict regime of constant sanitation is conducted in all areas on campus.
• ITJ-Palomar personnel have adequate protection accessories for healthy interaction at a distance.
• An isolation protocol and an assigned isolation area are available in case of suspicion of infection. In addition to the measures mentioned, ITJ is continually introducing new and important methods and equipment to offer a safe and sanitary environment for the community.
