At ITJ Valle Real, we’re proud to be an international school in Guadalajara where students experience a global education and dive into project-based learning. This year, our Upper School students took the lead in two extraordinary events that sparked curiosity and confidence in science, technology, engineering and maths – better known as STEM.

STEM isn’t just an acronym. It’s a way for students to connect science, technology, engineering and maths, building the skills they need to solve complex problems, collaborate and think critically. Through hands-on projects, students get curious, experiment and adapt – all essential for their future, both in and out of the classroom.

On 27 February, our STEM Parade brought together students, teachers and experts for a day packed with interactive workshops in food science, robotics, coding, finance and biotechnology. Students didn’t just watch – they experimented, presented and challenged everyday myths using STEM tools. The event opened doors to new career possibilities and left a lasting mark on students’ interest in science and technology.

Pi Day, celebrated on 14 March, is all about maths and discovery. We marked the day by honouring Albert Einstein’s birthday and Stephen Hawking’s legacy, connecting students to the world’s greatest minds in physics and maths. Students in Elementary and Upper School joined activities, including a Pi digits contest – with Luca M., grade nine, setting a new record by reciting 224 digits from memory!

At ITJ Valle Real, students grow in a supportive, international environment. Project-based learning and events like STEM Parade and Pi Day help students build key skills, spark curiosity and become innovative leaders. We’re committed to sharing our passion for science, maths and technology with every student – and we can’t wait for what’s next!
